Rami Boukai had his first golden moment. A professional player from San Diego, Boukai outlasted more than 450 other participants to win the $2,500 Mixed – Pot-Limit hold’em/Pot-Limit Omaha competition, Event 10, of the 2009 World Series of Poker at the Rio in Las Vegas. With the victory, Boukai, who was born in Saudi Arabia, has now cashed seven times at a WSOP.

A number of top pros, including David Sklansky, Daniel Negreanu and Hoyt Corkins cashed in the tournament.
