Anthony Harb has increased his possibilities. Primarily an online player, Harb defeated Peter Rho heads-up to finish first in the $2,000 No-Limit hold’em tournament, Event 11, of the 2009 World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. The win gives Harb three cashes at a WSOP.

“The money helps out a lot,” Harb, 28, said. “It gives me a big bankroll. It means I have the opportunity to play a lot more tournaments.”

Among the notable players cashing in Event 11 were Perry Friedman, Jason Mercier, David Pham, Tom McEvoy, T.J. Cloutier and Phil Hellmuth, who has now cashed 70 times at the World Series of Poker, the most of any player in history.

Overall, 171 places paid.
