One of poker’s top pros, Ivey outlasted 146 other participants to win the $2,500 No-Limit Deuce-to-Seven Draw Lowball tourney, Event 8, at the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. The win was Ivey’s sixth at the WSOP, moving him into a tie, with four other players, for seventh on the all-time list for victories. He has now cashed 31 times at the World Series. Among the other notable players cashing, were David Grey (11th), Freddy Deeb (12th), Chris Bjorin (13th), Barry Greenstein (18th) and Erick Lindgren (20th), who was last year’s WSOP Player of the Year.
