John "Johnny Quads" Wenzel is a successful high-stakes hold'em player, magazine editor, author and professional poker dealer based in South Florida. Playing poker since he was a tot in New York decades ago, Quads has accomplished what all players strive for but few achieve: showing a profit every year. He has also won tournaments both online and in the "real" world, the most recent being the 2006 Oklahoma State Pot-Limit Hold'em Championship.

Johnny Quads is the author of three books on poker: The Everything Poker Strategy Book, Everything Hold'em, and an upcoming release titled The Only Poker Book You'll Ever Need. Quads has worked as a reporter, designer and editor at newspapers, magazines and tabloids, including Star, The National Enquirer and The Palm Beach Post. He has a journalism degree from the hotbed of college poker, the University of Wisconsin in Madison, and in his spare time still deals a mean hand at the Palm Beach Kennel Club.
